Week 30

I'm thinking that I should probably start taking these pictures in the morning instead of right before i go to bed, because I am looking sooo tired.

Today I went to he hematologist cause my platelet count was low and Dr. Ray took some blood and tested it and the numbers were right where they should be at 170,000. She said that the tech might of not shook the vile enough. But she wants me to get my blood testing in about 4 weeks again just to make sure. What a relief that was. SHEESH

Week 29

Dad worked on the room all weekend, and it's looking GREAT!!!!

This week was really crazy! Wed we had dr. appt. Thursday we had our breastfeeding class, Friday we had my company's Holiday Party and Saturday was the second half of the birthing class. When we came home Saturday dad was working on the room. We are soooo grateful for dad's help words cannot even explain. I really hope that the babies room is ready in time for the shower, maybe will be. Saturday night the baby boy was kicking sooo hard. he was going CRAZY. But he always lets me sleep and stops all his crazy kicking when it's time to go to bed. LOVE!!

To My Unborn Child
© Rhonda O. Jones
To my unborn child,
what I wish to give you in times to come,
happiness, and wisdom,
a life filled with fun,
to explore all adventures of your curious mind,
to become knowledgeable of what you'll find,
as I await your arrival and the presence of newborn cries,
I picture how you'll look when I open up my eyes.
I feel your movements every time I wake each day,
letting mommy know that you’re okay,
obstacles I hope you'll overcome,
education I know you'll get done,
I stay up late reading to you,
talking to my stomach,
a feeling I never knew,
hungry all the time
'No doubt you're a son of mine',
You make me feel happy even when I'm sad,
because the formation of another life makes me glad.
Proud of you I am,
I already know how you'll be,
a smart 'lil' man for mommy to see,
no worries from me a mom to be,
to a special baby boy I can't wait to see.

Soon Enough by Sarah Anthofer

Soon Enough (Written for a Friend During Her Pregnancy,2005)
I can feel you in my heart,
Yours is beating just next to mine.
Soon enough you’ll be here,
So I can know that you’re just fine.

I can see you in my arms,
Ill hold you close and calm your cries.
You’ll look up and see me,
I’ll be the world through your eyes.

I can picture your innocent face,
And being there to wipe your tears.
I’ll whisper that I love you,
And I’ll be the one who calms your fears.

I can imagine what it will be like,
The feeling I will have inside.
To hold you, to love you,
Something words could never describe.

I can dream of what you’ll become,
From the day that your life will start,
You’ll explain to me your world,
And what you keep deep inside your heart.

I will hold you close to me,
And I’ll hold your tiny hand.
From the first moment until forever,
I’ll be the one who will always understand.

I will be your first teacher,
All the right things to do and say.
You’ll hang on to it forever,
And take it with you all of the way.

I will be your shoulder,
I will love you always until the end.
I’ll be your strength through the times,
And you’ll be my best friend.

I can feel you so close inside of me,
And soon enough we’ll hold each other close together.
You will finally be safely in my arms,
But you’ll stay the beat of my heart forever.

Weeks 29 - 32

********Week 29*********

Wednesday: Went to the Dr.'s for regular appt. Everything measuring good. Belly is measuring at 29 weeks, right on track. I only gained 1lb in 3 weeks. I asked the Dr. about my platelet count and he didn't seem concerned at all. He said they are only really concerned when it goes down to 50.000. He also said that when it's below 100,000 they don't like to give epidural because they are afraid of bleeding in the spinal column. I am at 87,000 so it's not that low, he said i shouldn't have a problem getting the numbers up. He also said if i do have to take steroids that it will help with the development of the baby's lungs which is good. I go to the dr. mon so well see what she says.

Ok so this picture was taken after I had already fallen asleep on our new glider that we a early shower present from: Teresa, Edie, Carrie, Rafael, and Vera. So I do look very sleepy in this picture.
