Week 8

Everything went great at the DR. He just went over all the Do's and Don'ts and over all our medical history. Then we got to check on the little raspberry and we saw it clear as day with it's little heart beating away. WE are over the moon. My starting weight is officially 106.3 so well see how that goes months from now. Started to feel more tired this week but better as the week has gone on. We finally told Brian and Gina and then all the aunts know. WE are going to Curtis's High school Graduation party tomorrow and look forward to telling more of the family.

WEEK 5


So...June 20th, 2010 I woke up early in the morning and decided to take a pregnancy test considering I was late. I let Eric sleep and figured I would either wake him up or let him know after he got up. So as the second pink line is appearing that it's a positive Eric's opens the bedroom door to go to the bathroom and with his eyes barely open I say "I THINK I'M PREGNANT" he's like wait what?!?!? I'm like "LOOK" So I take the second test right away and sure enough it's positive. I say HAPPY FATHER DAY Jokingly since it was fathers day. I call the Dr's office the next morning and they tell me to come in at 2PM. So I go in and they confirm that I am indeed Preggers. Does an exam and sends me off to an Ultrasound. Now I wasn't expecting to do this so quickly but from what I have learned my Dr. is very cautious. They do a transvirginal US and can barekly see a sac, but the tech says your probably not even 5 weeks 2 days as the dr had said going from my last period. So I go for blood for during the week. Everything is good, and I schedule my next US for the following Monday. Now Eric came come. So a week goes by and haven't told anyone except Cristina and Loraine. I go in on Monday and we were actually able to see a heart beat. How crazy. One week later and they measured me to be about 5 weeks 5 days, so they were a couple of days off.

7 weeks

My 29th BD and the 4th of July came which meant alot of BBQ's and seeing of our family and friends. Eric wanted to tell the world and I do too but scared to do so at the same time. We told my parents the night we go to see the heart beat. My mom was in disbelief and so was my father. We told Eric's mom over the phone since we kept missing each other cause we wanted to tell over SKYPE but couldn't and we just had to tell her. We told Eric's father the night we were in AC for Chris and Jess's Trip. We were about to go to dinner when we took out a little photo frame that said "I love my Grandpa" with a pic of the ultrasound in it. And we told him it was a little something for her BD coming up on the 5th. So when we gave it to him he was in disbelief also. WE then went to dinner at the old Oaks Rooms in AC and Michael told the waitress and she brought over a Cotton Candy. Which I LOOOVE!!! So Awesome how everyone is so excited.

We then picked up Chris and Jess at the Airport and of course they wanted to go out, being Jess's first time in AC. So we go to a Bar and they are like sooo why are you drinking water??? And Eric goes well.....there's a good reason. Katie's Pregnant and they were sooooo happy.

The 4th of July came and Eric was dying to tell James's parents, it was killing James inside to not be able to tell them, so after discussing it I told Eric it was ok if he told! So we did and they were ecstatic.

So now I am 7 weeks as of July 7 and I feel great!!! Almost to good!! But I guess I should not complain. We are going to the Dr for out next appointment on Monday. Cannot wait!!
