Week 31

i really cannot believe how fast time is going. Baby is moving alot. he's mostly on my right side. he's getting bigger and stronger. i go to the dr.'s today, and i'm gonna ask him how big the baby is.

Went to the Dr. Last night. I asked him how big baby boy is and he said he's about 3.5/4lbs. he said he's small but will grow alot. Very excited. baby is on my right side i wonder what he's doing in there so funny.

Week 30

I'm thinking that I should probably start taking these pictures in the morning instead of right before i go to bed, because I am looking sooo tired.

Today I went to he hematologist cause my platelet count was low and Dr. Ray took some blood and tested it and the numbers were right where they should be at 170,000. She said that the tech might of not shook the vile enough. But she wants me to get my blood testing in about 4 weeks again just to make sure. What a relief that was. SHEESH

Week 29

Dad worked on the room all weekend, and it's looking GREAT!!!!

This week was really crazy! Wed we had dr. appt. Thursday we had our breastfeeding class, Friday we had my company's Holiday Party and Saturday was the second half of the birthing class. When we came home Saturday dad was working on the room. We are soooo grateful for dad's help words cannot even explain. I really hope that the babies room is ready in time for the shower, maybe will be. Saturday night the baby boy was kicking sooo hard. he was going CRAZY. But he always lets me sleep and stops all his crazy kicking when it's time to go to bed. LOVE!!

Baby Hiccups

So today, actually this morning i definitely felt the baby hiccup. It was a constant motion so definitely was hiccuping. I feel it right now as I am typing this as well. it's not as strong it feels lower in my stomach but it's constant rhythmic pattern. sooo cute!!!!

I just received this glider as a present. Love the color of the chair. love how it turns in any direction. One thing i could say i don't like is that i wish when you go back it went back a little further. That's about it.

Weeks 29 - 32

********Week 29*********

Wednesday: Went to the Dr.'s for regular appt. Everything measuring good. Belly is measuring at 29 weeks, right on track. I only gained 1lb in 3 weeks. I asked the Dr. about my platelet count and he didn't seem concerned at all. He said they are only really concerned when it goes down to 50.000. He also said that when it's below 100,000 they don't like to give epidural because they are afraid of bleeding in the spinal column. I am at 87,000 so it's not that low, he said i shouldn't have a problem getting the numbers up. He also said if i do have to take steroids that it will help with the development of the baby's lungs which is good. I go to the dr. mon so well see what she says.



Ok so this picture was taken after I had already fallen asleep on our new glider that we a early shower present from: Teresa, Edie, Carrie, Rafael, and Vera. So I do look very sleepy in this picture.

I got a call on Friday that said I had passed my gloucose test, howevery my platelet numbers were low. That they should be at 140,000 and mine are at 87,000, so the dr. wants me to go and see a specialist to try and get my numbers up. He said at 75,000 they don't want to give a epidural. I did some research and it's very common in pregnany in the 3rd trimester, also i've read that I should feel very tired. I dont' really, feel that tired. Saturday we went to the first part of the birthing class, didn't learn anything new. We watched a birthing video, then we did a tour of the facility which we had already done when we went to the Baby Fair. We ran into Uncle Bill's Daughers and she gave us some recommendations for some pediatricians. Then we went back to the room and did some relaxation techniques and some exercies which i already do in yoga class, which i thought was pretty funny.

Last week was a nice shortened week. Eric was off all week and on Tuesday him and grandpa helped with the room. they put the ceiling up.




Wed I took off and we finally ordered the furniture :)


We ordered it in a merlot finish. Eric wanted to get AMERICAN made furniture. Very excited about our choice. Now we have 6-8 weeks until it gets delivered, and until they finish the room. Which i hope will be done before the furniture comes.

Thursday was thanksgiving and we went to SEARS in the AM to get a camcorder. Then we went to Uncle Rob and Aunt Danielle's for dinner. It was nice. Friday was black friday and we did venture out to Best Buy but after the mad rush. Friday night was also Eric's 10 year reunion. It was at Lagosta Lounge in Asbury Park.

The baby is starting to push on my bladder and it's getting uncomfortable. I guess he's getting bigger which is good.

I also had my glucose test on Wed so well see what the results are when we go to the Dr.'s next wed.




************Week 27************



Another week has come and gone. It was so nice to have Eric home for the week. This week is thanksgiving week. We are going to Uncle Rob and Aunt Danielle's for dinner Thursday. I am looking so forward to all the food, however i better pass myself cause I get full very fast. And once I get full i feel SOO FULL!!! very uncomfortable. Papo came over this weekend and did some electrical work in the room, we are getting there, slowly but it will be done. Have 13 weeks to go. Invites have gone out for the baby shower, very excited about that.

************Week 26************



11-18 I left work at lunch time yesterday and I went home and slept!!! I feel better today, thank goodness. Not 100% better but I think good enough to go to prenatal yoga tonight. My dad came over yesterday to start on the ceiling of the room, he said he wants to finish the ceiling this weekend. Which is great news. We have all the old walls still in the rooms so we gotta get it out of there. it's hard to work in there. Eric's gonna do that. Went to the Dr.'s yesterday. Babies on track he said i am right in the middle with gaining weight and with the babies heart beat. So i guess I am average. I gained another 6 lbs. It seems that every time i go i gain 6 lbs. so that's like 1.5lbs a week. The dr said I will gain about 1lb a week now. I have to go in 3 weeks which marks my 30th week and then every 2 weeks and then every week in the last month. Crazy how fast time is going. I can't wait though to get back to my self.

11-17 I dont' feel so good today. :( started feeling sickie last night, my throat started to hurt a bit and throughout the night it got worse. When I am sick i drink lots of fluids and being pregnant and doing that i feel like i have to get up every 1/2 hour. terrible. Plus the baby has been putting pressure on my bladder. We go to the Dr.'s tonight for the normal 4 week appointment. I believe this will be my last 4 week appt, since next week starts my finally trimester. I do love being pregnant, but at the same time i wanna get back to my normal self. My face has been breaking out terribly. IT seems in the same spots over and over again. My body is so achy today, i am planning on leaving work early perhaps at lunch going home and resting.

ERIC IS FINALLY WORKING IN NJ!!!! I am sooo happy about that. We got the word last week. Feeling great only prob is my hands get numb when I sleep and they feel all swollen in the morning and are sore pretty much all day.

Saturday I watched the kiddies and we went to the mall and road on the Train and just walked around. Those kids are the cutest. I heard Brennan say my name for the first time, soo cute!!!

Well another week if Eric working in PA. Thursday Eric came home cause it was raining and he and Dan were able to get out all the stuff out of the bedroom and into the garage and when I came home Eric had ripped down all the paneling off the walls and the ceiling. So now we have to get out all the old stuff and get new walls in. SO EXCITED to have the rooms finally started. My dad will come over and help which is a great help because I don't know how it would ever get done with out him, with Eric's job situation right now.

Weeks 22 - 24

So turns out that I'm not laid off anymore. Starting Nov 1st i was supposed to start unemployment due to financial problems at the office but they got a proposal for a contract. We have not heard if we received it or not, i guess that would be the deciding factor if i continue to be working or not, however I will take it as it comes. Eric is still working in PA. I hope he gets a job closer to home really soon, i hate him not being home.

Had a Dr.s Appoint this week, and met with Dr. Rogers. Measured my belly at 21 inches, we heard the babies heart beat, and I got weighed in and I gained about 6lbs from my last appointment. Everything's right on track. I found another prenatal yoga class on Monday nights over In point which I'm really excited about. Love going to prenatal yoga. I feel like I am connecting more with my baby. Now he is starting to kick me during yoga class some times. He was really kicking my bladder the other day. I feel really fortunate. to be feeling so great. I was talking to another girl in my yoga class that was a week behind me and he said for the first 15 weeks she felt terrible. So I guess the theory of if your healthy and in shape you won't get sick during pregnancy inst' true. My other prenatal yoga teacher is also pregnant and she feels terrible all the time. I really still feel the same but with a bigger belly and my appetite is getting bigger.

Saturday was Aunt Cristina and Uncle George's Engagement Party. It was soo difficult to keep it a surprise from Cris. But we did it, even though she figured it out at the end. It was soo nice. Everyone kept rubbing my belly telling me how good i look. That made me feel great!

This week we went to a baby safety seminar which turned out to be a hoax and a sales pitch for babee tenda. What a waste of time. They scare you to death by telling you that all highchairs are death traps and so are all cribs unless you buy there crib. So ridiculous.

Friday I found out the as of November 1st work is going to have to lay me off due to the financial situation. I really am not minding it so much, i have sooo much to do to get ready for the baby and I want to be able to spend as much time home with my baby once he's here. So maybe this is a blessing.

Friday night I went to Aunt Nicole's House and visited with her and baby Alivia. She is the sweetest thing and makes me really excited to meet my little man. I cannot wait to have him in my life. Nicole's doing a great job as a mommy and Alivia is just a little angel. She is still so tiny but growing bigger everyday. Can't wait until we have play dates with our kids.

Saturday went out to breakfast with Papo and Uncle Geroge. Then they both helped in getting the garage clean, which is a HUGE!!!! help. Now I just gotta get the clothes out of the room and start working on the room. I really hope it's done before the baby arrives. Not gonna stress about it. It is what it is.

Saturday we had Craig and Lisa's Wedding Celebration over at Pearle in New Brunswick. We went with Rob and Danielle. It was nice to hang out with them. I really could not even remember the last time the 4 of us hung out. Over 3 years for sure.





Sunday morning we were laying in bed and I felt the baby kicking as he has been doing alot more lately, and I placed Eric's hand on my belly and he REALLY FELT IT. His face lite up, it was the cutest thing ever. I am feeling the baby move alot more now. I am loving it.

Week 21

Ok so my tummy is getting bigger everyday. At least I feel it getting bigger. I have to start getting some maternity clothes. Even though I am trying to get clothes that I can still wear after the babies born. Shirts that is. Pants however I am loving my maternity old navy leggings. Seriously I love them.

WEEK 20

HALF WAY!!!

I truly cannot believe that we are half way with this pregnancy. This has been a breeze! Truly. I just hope the next 20 weeks are just as easy. I am feeling the baby more, which is wonderful!!! Friday night I was feeling the baby kick and I put Erics hand on my belly and he actually felt it!! Very slightly but he felt it! So very excited for that.

We are having a hard time figuring out a name. We like Gavin, Mason, Ethan, I think those are the contenders.

WEEK 19 IT'S A...BOY!!!!!

Went to the anatomy scan on September 30th. Everything looks GREAT! Saw little hands, and legs and even saw his mouth wide open, perhaps he was yawning. soooo cute! Confirmed that it's definitly a boy, now all we have to do is come up with a name.

WEEK 18

Ok so went to the Dr.s yesterday 9-24, and Eric couldn't make it cause he's in PA and we figured it was just a regular check up like last time, however when we go there the Dr. goes so do you wanna know the Sex...and I said NOOOOOOO my husband isn't here..so he goes how about I write it in an envelope and seal it so no peaking and when he comes home you guys can open it up together...so I said Ok..So i am being sooo good, i put the envelope away in a drawer so no looking at it. Eric should be home tomorrow, so we will know for sure. I'm telling you if it's a girl, i will be sooooo shocked. VERY HAPPY but very shocked lol!!!! oh also the Dr. asked if i had felt any movement and I told him NOT really and he said everything looks great with the baby it's just that I have an Anterier placenta which cushions all the movement from the baby, but i just googled it and it should move where it's supposed to be later on.

Feel GREAT!!! Weight is at 113. Dr. said i have gained 5 lbs total so far. I said is that OK? and he said yes it's fine. that women would kill to of only gained 5lbs so far. Even know my mom keeps telling me that my butt and legs have gotten bigger!!!!




Week 18. I am almost 100% positive that I felt the baby kick Saturday Morning. During the night I have rolled over to my other side and I felt like a kick, didn't really think much because I was sleeping, but when I woke up I remembered and put my hand on my stomach and I felt 2 slight little kicks. Definitely Kicks. Eric tried to feel something but that was it. I didn't feel it again. My stomach looks bigger last week I think. I have the Dr.'s appointment on Thursday and then a week from Thursday is the big anatomy scan where we find out the sex of the baby, even though I am almost certain it's a boy.

Week 17

This weekend we had Aunt Ariti and Gio's Engagement Party on Saturday and then on Sunday we had Baby Justin's Party for her Christening. It was also first Football Sunday of the Season. I feel great! No complaints. I was asked on Friday for the first time from the girl at the Pharmacy if I had a belly bump, so I guess I must be showing like I'm pregnant and not just getting fat. LOL. I sometimes feel some flutters but nothing really strong yet. I am waiting for those kicks!

Week 16

Soooo September 3rd Was a busy day!!! It was our 5 year anniversary and Eric DID Come home!!!! The Hurricane wasn't as bad as they were saying. Then I got a call the Uncle Anwar died. Which was very sad but he was soo very sick. Then I got another Call the Nicole had her baby girl Alivia Melina Cruz at 5lbs 9oz 18 inches. She was 5 weeks early but everything went smoothly.

We went to Amanda's in Hoboken for our anniversary dinner. It was great! We also celebrated Lauren and Dan's Engagement at O'neil's Friday night. Good things to come in the next year.

I feel great!! I do feel that my stomach has gotten bigger. I guess it's only a matter of time.

5 Year Anniversary

Today We are celebrating our 5 year anniversary!!!!Boy those 5 years have gone by fast. We have had sooo much fun and would not trade anything in the world. I can only imagine what the next 5 years will be like. Eric is still away in PA and might have to go away on Storm Duty because of Hurricane Earl, but everything is still up in the air. I want him to come home!!!!! but if he goes on storm that will mean some extra money. So I guess if he has to go at least we have something to look forward to.

WEEK 15

Week 15 is here, and I have been getting more heartburn. The last week has been bad. It usually happens right after dinner.

Eric is away for work starting this week in PA which stinks but needs to get done before the baby arrives.

I went maternity shopping this week, I still fit into my clothes but got some leggings and T-shirts. Also I found a Chicago Cubs T-Shirt for Eric and wouldn't you know it they had it for little boy or girl, so I bought both and will return when i know what the little baby is. I just couldn't resist.

September 1st. AUNT LORAINE IS 28. We went to McLoone's in Pier Village in Long Branch. The weather was great!! I feel great! Only thing is that sometimes when I get up from sitting my stomach feels sooo tight, likes it's hard for me to stand up straight i feel like i'm ripping my stomach muscles. Well I guess that must mean that I have tight stomach muscles maybe. Who knows!!!!

Week 14

Ok so don't mind the garbage. lol too lazy to actually get it out of the way for the picture.

2nd Dr. visit

Had our second Dr.'s visit yesterday. We were in and out in less than 10 min. Dr. felt my uterus and said that it's right below my belly buttom which is good. Felt my ankle's for any swelling and then we got to hear the baby's heart beat again. Which is always exciting. It was at 157 I believe. Said everything going good and see you in 4 weeks.

Week 12. We went to Florida for a couple of days to visit Grandma MaryJane and Granpa Yime. We stayed at there timeshare in Naples and then went off to Fort Lauderdale for a night. I was a little nervous flying now that I'm preggers, who am I kidding I'm always nervous to fly. But I kept if under countrol and the flights were GREAT! This was taken after eating a heavy dinner lol.
